Multi-platinum and Grammy nominated hard rock group SALIVA are currently in the midst of their summer Only the Sickest Survive tour. They roll into Endicott this Saturday to appear on the Blue Moon Sound Stage at En-Joie!
They have kept themselves busy this year with a successful run of first time ever acoustic performances in select cities and recently used a little downtime to start working on new music for a forthcoming album.
“No matter acoustic or electric, I believe that keeping the crowd engaged is the most important part of any show. If you can keep them entertained and interested in what you’re doing on stage, then the show is a success,” says SALIVA lead singer Bobby Amaru. Original founding member and lead guitarist Wayne Swinny adds, “My favorite part about getting back on tour is reconnecting with family, friends and fans face to face at our shows.”
Their Island Records debut Every Six Seconds featured the singles "Your Disease" and "Click Click Boom", both of which had significant airplay and brought the band into mainstream popularity. The songs "Superstar" and "Click Click Boom" are featured in the movie The Fast and the Furious.
The album Back into Your System, included the chart topping hits "Always", and "Rest in Pieces" co-written by James Michael and Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe.
A single, titled "Ladies and Gentlemen" from the album Blood Stained Love Story was released to radio stations and made it to No. 2 on the US Mainstream Rock charts. It was also made the official Theme song for Wrestlemania 23.
SALIVA has performed all over the US and the world with many high profile bands including (but not limited to), Sevendust, Aerosmith, and KISS. They’ve also appeared on the main stage at countless fairs, festivals and bike rallies – Sturgis, Rockin The Rivers, Daytona Bike Week, Rock on the Range and more.
