EPAC Presents Iconic Women of Music BURLESQUE

Endicott, NY. April 21, 2015: John Penird in association with the Endicott Performing Arts Center is proud to announce “Iconic Women of Music Burlesque” on May 14-17th at the Robert Eckert Theater at 102 Washington Avenue in Endicott NY. Show times Thursday, Friday and Saturday are at 8PM with a Sunday matinee showing at 3PM.

This will be the 4th Burlesque production under the direction of John Penird, the first year “Burlesque – A Las Vegas Review” in 2012 brought the glitz, glamour, and outrageous head pieces of a Las Vegas caliber show right to Endicott NY. 2013’s “Burlesque CARNEVIL” pushed audiences to embrace their worst fears, while giving in to their most forbidden desires under the big top with dance numbers and performances just as beautiful, as they were deadly. Last year, 2014’s “Take Back the 80’ Burlesque” brought patrons into a neon and leopard printed oasis of the Venus Club, where beautiful girls tended bar and rocked out to the best pop and rock songs of the 1980’s.

“Iconic Women of Music Burlesque” pays homage to some of the most wickedly talented female icons of music over the past 60 years! Your hosts John Penird (Virginia Ham), Jackson Bailey (Ginger Vitus), and everyone’s favorite after-school precautionary tale, Andy Shaul (Ashley Evans) will present to you The Legends Lounge - where Virginia’s girls will bring you to your feet with Burlesque performances paying homage to your favorite female icons like Nancy Sinatra (“These Boots are Made for Walkin”), Madonna (“Express Yourself”), Janet Jackson (“Nasty”), Cher (“Turn Back Time”) and even a little Dolly Parton (“???”). Choreography by Alery Patton (Scarlet Stiletto), and featuring returning cast members: April Youngs (Roxie Divine), Lydia Dozoretz (Kandy Kane), Jordan Dozoretz (Koko Kane) Tanya Morris (Cocoa Chanel), Aubri Foster (Ginger Rose) & Kate Pulling (Lacey Bels), as well as other familiar faces and some new ones.  Whether you’re a Britney or a Christina, a Madonna or a Gaga…this show has something for everyone!
